2nd Training School of IntelliWind

From the 21-25 of September IntelliWind doctoral candidates met at Albacete, Spain to continue their learning journey.


Here is an overview of their activities:


Lectures and Workshops

  • Sequential Decision Modelling for Wind Farm Operations by Eleni Chatzi (ETH Zürich).

  • Reinforcement Learning Basic by Marcus Binder Nilsen (DTU Wind and Energy Systems).

  • Uncertainty Assessment in AI/ML Workflows in Wind Energy by Ignacio Navas Pascual (OW Ocean Winds) and Iranzu Lezaun Eusa (OW Ocean Winds).

  • Reasoning and Decision-making Models for Autonomous Systems by Daniel Straub (Technical University of Munich).


Transferrable Skills

They had a talk about Gender Equality in Engineering and Science by Sofía Pérez Parra (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha).


Industrial Visit

They visited the facilities of IntelliWind's partner SYDIS.


General Assembly and Consortium Meeting

The doctoral candidates presented their work and received feedback from peers and supervisors.


In addition, consortium members reviewed project achievements, monitored progress, and outlined future activities and goals.


This training school was in collaboration with the project COPILOT.
